"He who is desireless is the richest man in the world. He who is desireless is fearless. There is real happiness in the absence of desire. The way to peace is by overcoming desire. Desire is the root cause of birth and death. Have mastery over desires. Desire obstructs the growth of devotion. Cut down the forest of desires with the axe of dispassion. Destroy all desires. Desire nothing. You will have everything. Desire is the enemy of Jnana. Yearn for the Lord alone."
