"A shattered nation of wild groups, each trying to step over the other, is not an arrangement from which we can hope to get any teamwork or co-operative endeavour in our nation building activities. The only factor that can bring us all together, that can hold the South and North in one embrace, that can bring the Naga chieftains and the Kerala youths, the Dravidians of Chennai and the nationalists of Kashmir, on the same platform, is our respect for and reverence to our distinct national culture. The dissemination of these fundamental ideas is, therefore, imperative in the context of our fast collapsing present day history."
